Little but surfable

Hello Friends,

More showery weather for us today along the coast and the good news for the early birds is that the predicted south wind was a no show. Instead we had 8-13 kts of westerly as of 0730. Swell has moved a little more to the SE and although both the height at sea and the period have decreased, Dee Why was seeing waist to chest high faces on the sets.

Beachwatch was reporting pollution possible at Dee Why this morning, and last night I had a text alert that the Warriewood treatment plant was blending untreated stormwater into the flow from its outfall. So a good idea to give that area a miss, even if you’re otherwise willing to risk it.

We could still have a few little bumps around tomorrow morning, but the models are pretty bleak for the following 7 days. If they have it right, our next pulse will arrive around the 1st of July. Can’t really complain after all the swell we’ve had in June.
