Hello Friends,
If you looked around this morning, you could find a knee to waist-high wave at exposures tuned to the SSE swell direction. It was around the metre mark out at sea, however the period is 13 seconds and that’s why there’s a slight uptick in your surf options. A light westerly breeze, an incoming tide (high’s at 1340) and sunny skies are a nice touch.
If you’re wondering about the wave prospects for this weekend and beyond, the Mighty Goat has meditated on the runes and revealed his surf forecast…
Go well!
Weather Situation
A weak ridge lies over coastal waters of New South Wales, except the north where a weak trough resides. A cold front is expected to bring gusty southerly winds starting in the south on Sunday and reaching the northern border Monday. After this, a coastal trough is expected to develop in the northern waters late Monday while a weak ridge extends over the south. This pattern is expected to remain for several days.
